This site is dedicated to the memory of Daniel Carmain.

Daniel Carmain was born in Kankakee, IL on May 21, 1965. He attended Faith Baptist church and school for many years. In his youth Daniel enjoyed working with his dad Don Carmain of Carmain Signs and loved fishing and cooking. Later in life he moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he joined and became a much-loved member of St George Episcopal Church on Fort George Island. Daniel contributed his many talents to the church especially as a gardener, carpenter,sign-painter and as our teacher. Surviving Daniel are his mother Elizabeth Carmain and three sisters and three brothers: Pamela Skimerhorn (John) of Bradley IL; Lesa (Jeff )Hoover of Arkasas; Kimberly (Ronald) Pryor of Arkansas; David Nottke of Kankakee, IL; David(Tammy) Carmain of Wisconsin; Dennis (Sue)Carmain of Martinton, IL; and two very close friends Terry and Kate Matthews of Jacksonville, Florida. Deceased are his father Donald Carmain, all his grandparents, and one nephew Joseph Carmain. He also leaves behind many friends in his church family at Saint George Episcopal church where he taught many important lessons during his time as a volunteer and beloved member. He will be remembered for his deep and abiding faith by all his friends and family.
